Work in insurance and recognise the critical role insurance has to play in building a more sustainable future, but don’t know where to start?
Better Insurance Network’s quarterly Mentoring Networking events, delivered in partnership with the Next Generation Insurance Network, give insurance professionals the chance to meet and learn from leading sustainability experts how to take action within their organisations and/or bring sustainability into their roles and careers.
We have assembled a fantastic selection of mentors who each have a wealth of experience in implementing sustainability and enacting change in an insurance business.
The next session will take place during SUSTAIN Festival. Speakers/mentors TBC.
Who should attend?
What might you learn?
How does it work?
These events have a pretty unique structure in that they contain an expert panel discussion, networking drinks, and also a 30-minute mentoring session delivered in small groups (this part is for people who work for an insurer, reinsurer or broker only).
When you enrol for mentoring, you’ll let us know whether you which type of mentor you’d most like to meet. We’ll also ask you to submit a couple of questions or discussion topics you’d particularly like to cover.
On the day, mentees will be seated in small groups with a mentor for 30 minutes. In this time, you will each be able to ask your question(s) and listen/participate in the group discussion.
Once the formal conversations have finished, you can then enjoy the panel and networking drinks, giving you a chance to meet the other mentors and attendees.
If we have reached capacity for a particular date, you will be added to the waiting list and given the opportunity to attend the next available event.
